Building upon the principles taught in Saxon Math 6/5, the Saxon 7/6 textbook introduces functions and coordinate graphing, integers, exponential expressions, and prime factorization. Students will specifically learn about the order of operations, number lines, decimal place value, how to find the percent of a number, how to round decimal numbers, attributes of geometric solids, and more.

This course will introduce topics of algebraic thinking and investigative skills for math. Students will use all of their computation skills which are essential learning for our students, but develop even greater uses for them in scientific notation and work with integers, or signed numbers.
