There is no need to purchase the workbook; only the textbook is needed.
Homework:
Selections from each unit of the textbook – approximately 15 pages of reading per week. (High school students in this course will have a higher reading load.)
Writing is an integral part of demonstrating both the assimilation of knowledge and the articulation thereof. Therefore, students will be guided through the process of writing a short (1-2 page, double-spaced) review of a book of their choice relevant to the subject matter. (High school students in the course must instead write a three- to a five-page book report.)
Weekly extra-credit review quizzes based on classroom lectures and discussions. Quizzes are graded automatically by the computer.
No answer key booklet is included with this course.
