In this course, students will gain a deeper understanding of Greek mythology and its influence on the Western World. Students will be encouraged both to read the stories and to think critically about them. We will focus on mastery of content as well as how the morals of the stories compare with Biblical Truths. We will explore the idea of heroes and heroines, right and wrong, fate, and the standards the Greeks upheld.

Suggested grade level: 7th to 8th grade. High school students are welcomed if they are interested in the subject matter.

Greek Mythology reveals the innate questions that rest in all human souls: where did we come from? What is our purpose? Throughout this ten week course, we will analyze the stories through a Biblical worldview. Students will discover how these myths still impact and influence our world today!
