About Gregory Pyne
Gregory Pyne teaches AP Literature and Composition and Senior British Literature and Writing at West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Florida. He has served as the Language Arts Department Head at West Orange since 2014. In 2010, he was honored with a scholarship to Oxford University, where he studied Medieval and Victorian Literature at Exeter College.
A devotee of GK Chesterton, he is a founding member of the Central Florida Chesterton Society and is a proud member of the American Chesterton Society. Previously Anglican, he converted to the Catholic Church and was received during Easter Vigils in 2017.
He is a proud father of three boys: Rowan, Brennan, and Corin. Varying the quote just a little, he agrees with CS Lewis that “You can never get a cup of coffee big enough or a book long enough to suit me.”

Without a shadow of a doubt, I picked Frodo Baggins focusing on his character in The Return of the King.
